Daniel comparte con nosotros su experiencia como voluntario en "La Escuelita".

Participar como voluntario en la Escuela GVA ha sido una de las experiencias más agradables que he tenido durante un viaje. Mirando atrás en el tiempo compartido allí, realmente creo que será uno de aquellos recuerdos que lleve dentro por el resto de mi vida. Los primeros días en la escuela, me sentía fuera de lugar debido a mis escasos conocimientos del español, pero al poco tiempo descubrí que sus sonrisas fueron suficientes para comunicarse conmigo. En mis más profundos recuerdos están nuestros partidos de voleibol y observar cómo los mayores ayudaban a los más pequeños en sus clases y en sus estudios.

Lamento no haber tenido la oportunidad de pasar más tiempo en "la escuelita", ya que realmente el tiempo que pasé en Sudamérica fue muy limitado.
Esta es una experiencia que recomiendo sinceramente para cualquier persona con una mentalidad abierta y un espíritu aventurero.

Volunteering at Escuela Galo Vela Alvarez was one of the most enjoyable experiences, I have had while traveling. Looking back on my time there, I truly believe that it will be those memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life. My first day as the school I felt a little bit out of place, as I only a rudimentary understanding of spoken Spanish. But in a very short time I discovered that their smiles and laughter were communication enough for me. My fondest memories are of playing volleyball with them and watching the older ones help the younger ones with their class room studies.

My biggest regret is that I didn't get the chance to stay longer at the school, as my own time in South America was limited. I would heartily endorse a similar experience for any person with an open mind and adventurist spirit.
